2007 AUTUMN CARNIVAL TIPPING COMPETITION
Congratulations to Ron Sullivan & Mario Avellino (Equal 1st on 20 points) who won the NSWROA Autumn Carnival Tipping Competition for 2007, the scores were amended and finalised on 17 April 2007. Geoff Longhurst ran a close 3rd on 19 points having picked the last 2 out of 3 selections in the last round.
Mario and Ron will now fight out a ‘play off’ this Saturday at Hawkesbury for an attractive $1,000 cheque care of the NSW Racehorse Owners Association and a Stallion nomination to ‘Intergaze’ valued at $5,500 courtesy NSWROA director Ray McDowell & Widden Stud.
Geoff has won a dinner for two valued at $200 courtesy of The Republic Hotel and the NSWROA.
The NSWROA intends to have another Spring Carnival tipping competition and it is hoped that all members will be able to participate and get involved later this year.
