Ray McDowell

President

Ray McDowell has been a horse owner for over 35 years, but is best known for his ownership of Intergaze. He currently has over 10 horses in work with several trainers, including Kevin Moses at Randwick and Ken Lantry at Newcastle. Ray also has a few mares that he breeds with which amount to a growing number of weanlings, yearlings and 2 year olds.

Ray works for Oaks Hotel and Resorts and has been involved in the strata and building management industry for over 20 years.

Ray is actively involved in the improvement of racing and is delighted to be on the Racing Industry Consultation Group and more recently becoming involved with the BOBS Committee.

Ray was elected President of NSWROA in October 2008.
