Some of the things that the NSWROA has been instrumental in achieving to date:

Benefits

• Establishment of Owners Rooms at Randwick, Rosehill, Canterbury and Warwick Farm race courses including car parking for NSWROA members at Royal Randwick and Warwick Farm.
• Waiver of STC joining fee for NSWROA members.
• Free entry to Provincial and many Country race clubs for members (except during Carnivals).

Financial

• Cost free racing across NSW.
• Starters Incentives paid for non-prizemoney winning horses.
• Abolition of the Placed Rider Payment at Metropolitan race courses.
• Release of prizemoney to Owners prior to swab clearance (except for major races).
• Waiver of STC joining fee for NSWROA members.
• Free entry to Provincial and many Country race clubs for members (except during Carnivals).
• Extended BOBS benefits.

Industry Improvement

• Amendment to race ballot conditions so that original entries take precedence over extended nominations.
• Changes to race programming including increased opportunities to race before open company, additional races for fillies and mares and more staying races.
• Organises and promotes the annual ‘Racing’s Night of Champions’ and many other social events.
• Input to Racing NSW Strategic Plan.
• Representation of Owners on RICG.
• Input into formal Training Agreement with ATA thereby enhancing Owners’ rights.
• Improvements to horse loading/unloading ramps at Randwick.
